With over 11 years of experience in the construction industry, Doug Maas saw a need to help others understand the house they were about to purchase. Doug became owner/operator in 2002 of A Closer Look Home Inspections, Inc. and he now specializes in home inspections, foundation inspections, radon testing, and lead based paint sampling.

Doug Maas is a consultant for focus on energy, a Wisconsin Certified ENERGY STAR consultant and a Licensed Home Inspector. He is NEHA-NRPP Certified for Radon Measurement, Certified Foundation Water Proofing Professionals with Basement Systems Inc., and he is a Certified Helix, Hydraulic Piering and Anchoring Systems with Grip-Tite Anchoring Systems.
He is also a National Association of Certified Home Inspectors(N.A.C.H.I.) Member, Treasurer of the Fox Valley Apartment Association, and he belongs to the Radon Association.
